What is NissanConnect?

NissanConnect, designed for smartphone users, is now standard on many new Nissan cars. It is comprised of smartphone apps, virtual assistants, GPS navigation, and premium entertainment channels. 

NissanConnect Technology improves driving. The NissanConnect infotainment system is your command and control center inside. Some Nissan models come with an eight-inch touchscreen built into the dashboard. If you have more money, you can easily upgrade to a larger multimedia display. For example, the Rogue crossover includes a nine-inch center monitor. The luxury Armada SUV’s interior incorporates a 12.3-inch touchscreen above the dashboard. Most current Nissan infotainment systems also include physical buttons and electronic knobs. 

The latest Bluetooth compatibility allows voice control of the NissanConnect multimedia platform. The distinctive infotainment console supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. The NissanConnect suite includes various voice-activated digital assistants. Everyone will enjoy Google Assistant, Siri Eyes Free, Apple CarPlay, and Nissan’s personalized concierge services. 

WiFi hotspots in Nissan models increase connectivity for smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Thanks to an AT&T-Nissan partnership, you can enjoy reliable, fast, and cheap internet connections while driving. 

Nissan has also developed strong ties to SiriusXM Satellite Radio, as optional SiriusXM Guardian adds a host of useful services and security measures. Travel Link and Traffic Plus are also available via the NissanConnect portal. Some trims have trademark navigation that shows three-dimensional sites in major cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
