Buying a new or used automobile requires a lot of study, especially if you’re looking at pre-owned vehicles. We are
thankful that there are Nissan Certified Pre-owned Vehicles (CPO). You can be certain that these pre-owned Nissan
cars, trucks, and SUVs have been thoroughly inspected and meet strict quality standards. A certified used Nissan is,
in essence, the best you can get when buying a pre-owned vehicle.

There aren’t many better CPO programs than Nissan’s. Before the 167-point examination can begin, a used Nissan
must fulfill certain requirements: it must be less than six years old and have less than 80,000 miles on the
odometer.

Nissan Warranty Exclusions

All Nissan Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles come with a seven-year or 100,000-mile powertrain warranty, whichever
comes first.

Authentic Nissan Parts

We’ll provide you with the best parts and accessories for your CPO Nissan if you need them for maintenance or
recall repairs. To ensure that your pre-owned Nissan performs as well as a brand-new Nissan, we only utilize genuine
OEM Nissan parts during repairs.

Three-Year Buyback Guarantee & Carfax Vehicle History Report

All of our CPO Nissans at our location come with a free Carfax report. The Carfax Three-Year Buyback Guarantee is
included with any of those CPO Nissans. Carfax will purchase your car back if it doesn’t satisfy your high
standards. Please contact us at McLarty Daniel, your local Nissan dealership, for additional information on
this.

Three-Month Trial Subscription to SiriusXM Satellite Radio

A three-month trial of SiriusXM Satellite Radio is available with the purchase of some certified used Nissan
vehicles. You’ll need to talk to a pre-owned Nissan dealer about your possibilities.

Security+Plus Extended Protection Plans

A Nissan Certified Pre-Owned Service+Plus package might provide you additional peace of mind and can be purchased
as an option. Services like extended rental car assistance and roadside support are included in CPO service
contracts, which cover over 1,600 parts. Nissan’s Paintless Dent Repair, Maintenance Care Protection, and other
options may also be available to you.

Comparing CPO Programs: What Resources Are Available?

It is possible to compare the CPO programs of up to three different manufacturers using Edmunds’ CPO comparison
tool. For example, a CPO Nissan is more likely to be a more recent model year car vs a CPO Toyota since the Toyota
CPO program stipulates that vehicles must be less than seven years old and have less than 85,000 miles on them. In
addition, Nissan’s warranty covers travel interruptions up to $500 as an added benefit.

You may utilize home charging stations to keep your electric car juiced up and ready to go to work. However, if you’re new to electric-vehicle life, it’s easy to get confused while determining which type of electric vehicle charging equipment to place in your garage. Understanding the contrasts between Level 1 and Level 2 stations may help you in determining the charger you require to keep the power flowing in your car.

Because a Level 1 charger can be connected to a 120-volt outlet, it is the simplest way to charge at home. On the other hand, it may take an extended period of time to recharge your battery. In general, plug-ins could expect 4.5 miles of driving for every hour of charging, however, this varies depending on the battery capacity. A pure-electric battery can run for up to 20 hours, whereas a hybrid battery can run for as little as seven hours. If you repeatedly deplete your battery to nothing and want immediate power, Level 1 will not suffice. If you only travel short distances and have the patience to let it charge slowly overnight, this may be the choice for you. Simply ensure that you have a backup plan in place in the event that you require something more powerful immediately.

A Level 2 charging station is a substantial investment, but it will pay off in the long run. These 240-volt chargers, capable of delivering up to 32 Amps of energy, require professional installation. Depending on the brand and kind of car you drive, you may fill up around five times faster than with a Level 1 charger. There are a lot of reasons to upgrade from your Level 1 charging station. A Level 2 charger is the ideal option for people who often drive long distances, do not have access to a high-powered charger near their home or place of employment, or just don’t want to wait hours to get their car back on the road.

The 240-volt portable charger is an excellent solution if your garage lacks the room for a Level 2 Wallbox. Even though this charger is smaller and lighter than a Level 1 station, it gives three times the power! Even if you do not have an outlet with a suitable voltage, you may charge your car slowly and carry your charger with you if necessary.

With this knowledge, you can make the most energy-efficient choices for your car. With the proper domestic EV charging choices, you can get the most out of your plug-in vehicle. Driving a zero-emission vehicle is significantly easier and more enjoyable if you have all of the necessary equipment to keep your battery charged right in your garage.

During the winter, drivers get used to a lot of different things, like the need to brush snow off your car, scrape ice off the glass, go to the car wash to get rid of salt and sand, and driving carefully in bad weather.

A lot of people don’t think about how important it is to keep their tires in good shape during the winter. The air inside the tire gets smaller when it’s colder, which means the pressure drops more often. Air slowly seeps out of tires over time, so you’ll need to get used to filling them up to the right pressure.

When the temperature drops by 10 degrees, you lose one pound of tire pressure for every square inch of tire that you lose. There can be a big difference in the tires on big cars.

Underinflated tires put more strain on the engine because it has to work harder to move a car on softer tires. This means the engine has to work harder, so in return, you’ll get less fuel efficiency and have a greater chance of a leak or a blowout.

Tire pressure recommendations from the manufacturer are in the car’s owner’s manual or on a sticker that is on the driver’s side door. You can check the tire pressure with a pressure gauge or with the car’s tire pressure monitoring system.

Once a week, check the tire pressure to make sure it’s not low. When you keep the pressure in your tires at the right level, you can save money at the pump and have a smoother and safer drive.

You’ll get the best reading in the morning. If you’ve recently driven the car or the tires have been outside in the sun, the readings will read more inflated due to the increase of temperature throughout the day.

Treat yourself to a new pair of tires and let us keep you on the road this winter at McLarty Daniel Nissan, which serves the communities of Centerton, Bella Vista, Bentonville, Eureka Springs, Fayetteville, Pea Ridge, Springdale, and Rogers, Arkansas. Visit us today and let our professionals handle all of your tire requirements!

The automobile industry’s midsize pickup truck category is rapidly becoming one of the most competitive segments on the planet. Nissan is well-positioned to grab the class lead since its Frontier model has been entirely revamped. In general, the 2022 Frontier is more powerful, has a greater towing capacity, and capable of pulling a greater payload than its Toyota counterpart.

CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR CURRENT 2022 NISSAN FRONTIER INVENTORY

Regardless of the size of a pickup, its owner expects it to operate t a specific level. The Frontier should easily meet, if not surpass, those expectations. The 2022 Nissan Frontier’s 3.8-liter V6 engine is coupled with a nine-speed automatic transmission and produces 310 horsepower and 281 lb.-ft. of torque. This is the most powerful basic engine available in the midsize pickup truck segment. By comparison, the 2021 Honda Ridgeline’s base model is powered by a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine producing 159 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. The 2022 Frontier’s towing capacity will be at least 6,720 pounds. The base towing capability of the 2022 Tacoma is only 3,500 pounds. Additionally, the 2022 Frontier also has a greater cargo capacity than the Toyota Tacoma.

Both pickup trucks come equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto application suites. However, the 2022 Nissan Frontier’s multimedia system is controlled via a nine-inch touchscreen, while the 2022 Tacoma only has an eight-inch touchscreen. Nissan has also included a high-speed Wi-Fi hotspot in some 2022 Frontier trim levels. There is no 2022 Toyota Tacoma trim that has comparable capabilities.

The 2022 Frontier comes fitted with a forward-collision warning system, which is unique in its segment. Owners of the current Toyota Tacoma will have access to their own suite of safety systems, although not all features will be accessible on all trim levels, and not all will be comparable to those offered by the 2022 Nissan Frontier.

McLarty Daniel Nissan recommends taking care of your car’s winter maintenance while you still have some time before the brutal weather hits here in Northwest Arkansas. We’ve put together a list of winter car care guidelines to assist you in making sure your Nissan is ready to withstand the cold and and sometimes harsh weather.

SCHEDULE YOUR SERVICE APPOINTMENT TODAY

Maintain Your Battery – Cold weather is tough on batteries, making them less effective than they would be in warmer weather. Have the battery tested, and if it’s damaged, it’s best to replace it.

Wiper Blades are Crucial — Wiper blades take a beating in the winter, with snow and ice causing more wear and tear than plain rain. Check your wiper blades on a regular basis and replace them as they become worn.

Keep an Eye on Your Tires — In the winter, tires can wear out considerably more quickly. Temperature changes can cause tire pressure to vary, resulting in cars riding on deflated wheels. Check your tire pressure regularly and inflate as needed.

Consider Winter Tires – Winter tires, often known as snow tires, are an excellent purchase. Winter tires are more durable and provide superior traction on slick surfaces. It’s actually rather simple to switch to winter tires, and it’s a terrific way to get ready for the upcoming winter months.

Check Your Car’s Fluids Frequently — It goes without saying that fluids don’t do well in the cold. We recommend monitoring and replenishing your vehicle’s fluids on a regular basis, especially the oil. Also, make sure you get your oil changed consistently.

Remember Scheduled Maintenance — Speaking of oil changes, it’s critical to keep up with routine maintenance in general over the winter. Your owner’s manual can inform you when and what on your car needs to be serviced.

Make Sure You Have the Right Tools in Your Car – Certain things, such as an ice scraper and jumper cables, must be kept in your car at all times. Going a step further and putting together an emergency pack with other useful goods like a mobile phone charger and a blanket is a good idea.

If you live in or near the areas of Centerton, Bella Vista, Bentonville, Eureka Springs, Fayetteville, Pea Ridge, Springdale, and Rogers, Arkansas and need winter maintenance or repairs, contact us today and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Nissan returned to the SEMA show this year, and the Japanese carmaker had a few surprises in store for attendees. As expected, a few customized Nissans took to the stage. One of them is DocZ, which is owned by actor Sung Kang (you may know him as Han).

Let’s start with the DocZ, a 1972 Datsun 240Z that’s been modified to look like a Safari rally car. Sung Kang, best known for his part in the Fast and Furious franchise as Han, had set a new bar for himself and his mentor, Erick Aguilar of Erick’s Racing.

Kang also owns the FuguZ, a well-known 240Z with a Skyline engine, while the DocZ is equipped with an original L24. It started as a 2800cc engine with a custom head, three Weber carburetors, and a unique exhaust system. The DocZ’s modifications are period correct, and they include a new suspension and brake package, as well as 16-inch ’78 Nanakorobi Yaoki wheels (as homage to the Z432’s original Kobe Seiko) and a complete body makeover with a koi fish ghost effect on its red and black two-tone paint.

Christ Forsberg, a three-time Formula Drift World Champion, provided another modified Nissan for the 2021 SEMA Show. Altimaniac, his all-custom four-seat Altima drift monster, is powered by a GT-R and consistently provides 2,000 horsepower.

On the other side was the 2022 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X, which Team Wild Grace piloted in the 2021 Rebelle Rally. The women-only Rebelle Rally, regarded as one of America’s most grueling off-road rallies, saw Nissan finish sixth. The racers were there to talk about their experiences.

Project Overland Frontier, a 2022 Nissan Frontier, was also on display. It features a two-inch front lift, SPC front upper control arms with xAxis sealed flex joints, NISMO Off-Road rear leaf springs and shocks, a full cat-back exhaust system with polished tip, and laser-etched NISMO logo, and other modifications such as a rooftop tent, a bed rack, ditch illumination, a roof rack, an all-weather bed drawer system, and many more conveniences.

Beginning in early 2022, Nissan dealers, select NISMO merchants, and NISMO’s website will be able to purchase the bulk of the new NISMO Off-Road parts displayed at this show.

The second customized Nissan is a Project Overland Pathfinder. This model was modified for overlanding and comes with simple changes that owners can make to make traveling off the beaten path more convenient.

The Project Overland Pathfinder had a two-inch lift kit with custom Bilstein monotube gas-pressurized shocks, custom 18-inch NISMO Off-Road wheels, and Maxxis RAZR AT tires in 265/60/R18 tires. It also has several roof-mounted accessories to accommodate life in the wild with a vehicle, including a roof-mounted tent, a camp kitchen, and many other elements.

Nissan has long been at the forefront of technological innovations. That said, Nissan has once again demonstrated why it is the people’s champion by launching its new electric vehicles. The new Nissan EVs are genuinely remarkable, providing us with reasonably priced EVs that can compete with the more expensive options like Tesla.

The Nissan ARIYA and Nissan LEAF are two vehicles that the average person can’t go wrong with. The Nissan LEAF is a compact sedan, while the all-new Nissan ARIYA is a compact SUV. When it comes to overall features, the ARIYA comes out on top, but it doesn’t mean the LEAF isn’t a nice car.

VIEW OUR EV INVENTORY TODAY

Engine

The ARIYA sports a larger engine or electric motor with 215 horsepower under the hood. This offers quick acceleration, and the EV’s quiet nature makes it a perfect city commuter. The enormous battery pack allows the automobile to go from 0 to 60 mph in about five seconds, which is fantastic. The ARIYA is equally at home on a wide stretch of road as it is in a tight parking area.

The LEAF has a smaller electric motor that produces 147 horsepower. This is a low figure, yet it is plenty given the car’s size. It accelerates well in city traffic, although it may struggle on highways. If you’re going on a lengthy trip, its limited driving range can be a concern.

Range

The ARIYA has a driving range of up to 300 miles, while the LEAF offers 226 miles on a single charge. ARIYA’s larger battery pack gives it a far more adaptable alternative for anyone seeking a new vehicle. The LEAF is a great car; it’s simply that the ARIYA provides a lot more for a lot less.
